One of the most positive things on my life that my parents have ever done is both workout every single day religiously. My Dad got offers to play college football but wanted to be a Doctor. He always worked out but lifting became his free time in med school. My Mom has run Boston and many other marathons and prob averages 20-25 miles a week when she’s not training + does crossfit. The gym is my happy place and I’m convinced that if I didn’t have it to sublimate negative whatever in life, I’d probably be on a ton of substances or I would be a Crashout. This doesn’t even take into account the obvious benefits. It also makes my parents love each other more. Neither of them want to be looking at the other one fat. TLDR: Pick up some heavy ass weights and the put them down. Now do it again and again and again and again.
