In the last six months, Boom completed two supersonic flights with XB-1, demonstrated boomless cruise, livestreamed test flights globally via @Starlink, partnered with @NASA to visualize shock waves mid-flight, and selected Colorado Air and Space Port to test our Symphony engine’s sprint core. We’ve accelerated innovation, testing drag-reducing sharkskin material with the Defense Innovation Unit (@DIU_x) and Air Force Operational Energy Office, and 3D printing metallic parts for Symphony engine sprint core testing with @EOS3DPrinting. Now, the path to commercial supersonic travel is clearer than ever, with a newly issued executive order lifting the 52-year ban on civil supersonic flight over land—unlocking the market for Overture. This aligns with global momentum, including @ICAO’s adoption of new noise standards for supersonic aircraft.
