Keep it simple. Sunlight, ocean, oysters, beef tartare. Vitality guaranteed.
Where's the crisp Chablis? At my ripe old age of 33, I'm starting to notice more negative effects from alcohol. I often feel less motivated, more lethargic, and less upbeat the day after even a single glass of wine. I'm working a lot lately, so it's very obvious to me which days I'm on or off my game. Multiple glasses can change my whole mood or worldview the next day. Which never used to be the case. I love a great glass of wine, but I much prefer feeling energetic, upbeat, and productive every day. So I've stopped drinking for now. And I'm loving it. Caffeine is my drug of choice. A nice flat white or cold brew powers my work without making me feel terrible later. And for apéro time, there are plenty of non-alcoholic substitutes (like ginger shots, herbal campari substitutes, etc.) that don't have any negative effects. Good rule of thumb for life: If it makes you feel good while you're doing it but bad afterwards, you probably just need to cut it out altogether. I'll give wine another shot eventually to see if my body can handle it again. But for now I'm enjoying being sober.
@Mangan150 In case anyone is curious why:
