The next time you see someone in the gym who's overweight but had the courage and motivation to do something about it, consider giving that person a fist bump or tell them "your killing it today." Why? Because while that same person knew people might stare, they chose to step in the gym anyway. We don't always know the backstory. We should never assume or make someone feel less worthy of the gym. Instead, a little props for showing up and a compliment might be all that person needs for motivation. You never know. You could be doing your part in saving someone and changing their lives for the better. I'm sure you can live with that.
