OKX Wallet Referral Update: Commission Levels and Fee Discounts
Dear OKX Wallet Users,
OKX Wallet will update its referral levels and referee fee discount rules, effective from October 9, 2026 at 6:00 PM (UTC+8). The changes are as follows:
I. Maximum Referee Fee Discount Reduced to 10%
The referee fee discount available when creating a referral code will change from 0–20% to 0–10% across all referral levels.
Once the changes take effect, fee discounts above 10% on existing referral codes will be reduced to 10%. Existing discounts of 10% or less will not be affected by this adjustment. Referees who have already linked an affected code will receive the updated fee discount.
II. New Level 1 and Revised Level Requirements
A new Level 1 will offer a 10% total referral rate, with no minimum monthly trading volume requirement. The current Level 1 will become Level 2, retaining its 20% total referral rate with a new monthly DEX trading volume threshold of $20,000.
Current Levels 2–6 will become Levels 3–7, respectively. Their total referral rates and monthly trading volume thresholds will remain unchanged. The updated levels are shown below:

The total referral rate comprises the referrer's commission and the referee's fee discount. The referrer's actual commission rate equals the applicable total referral rate minus the referee's fee discount. For example, an applicable total referral rate of 20% with a 10% referee fee discount results in a 10% commission rate for the referrer.
III. Level Adjustments for Existing Referrers
These adjustments apply to all existing Level 1 referrers and will be based on their monthly DEX trading volume for August, September, and October 2026:
Referrers with at least $20,000 in trading volume in any one of the three months will be assigned Level 2, with a 20% total referral rate.
Referrers with trading volume below $20,000 in each of the three months will be assigned Level 1, with a 10% total referral rate.
Apart from these changes, the existing upgrade, downgrade, assessment, and level protection mechanisms will continue to apply. You can check your updated level, commission rates, and referral code discounts in the referral dashboard.
