The last round of DeFi summer was fueled by various protocol token rewards, which was actually very unhealthy. It's better not to go back to that kind of summer. The current DeFi is healthier, with sources of income coming from U.S. Treasury bonds, funding fees, lending interest, POS interest, and so on, making it more stable.
