Thoughts on GPT5 after 2 days of using it: ✅ Feels much faster ✅ Much better writing partner ✅ Proactively offers relevant follow-ups (I love this) ✅ Ramped to ChatGPT's 700M+ weekly users which pushes the whole industry forward ✅ No more ugly model picker ❎ OpenAI underestimated how attached people were to 4o's personality. Should've let folks keep the older models for awhile (e.g., in settings) ❎ The marketing (e.g., Death Star) was pretty cringe. Just let the model and product speak for itself.
