We have had a device in our pocket for 40+ years that can add, subtract and multiply faster than the fastest human on the planet. Worth reflecting what changed since everyone has had access to a calculator (it helped so many things!) and what has not.

(One could argue the calculator is “smarter” than the smartest human on earth across these dimensions - and given the average person uses these operations the most, they have a superhuman companion. But mathematics is far from replaced thanks to calculators or computers - and it helped advance the field even more!)
