Nothing will mess with your health more than making too many decisions with your head. Every time I feel like I'm in some sort of a funk or stuck in a weird mental place, this is always the culprit
The heart just knows what you want. It'll literally guarantee you a perfect life, and all you have to do is follow it. But for some reason, you end up choosing the career that looks better on paper, the surroundings that logically make more sense, the paths that seem more responsible
You resonate with something, but think yourself out of it. Enjoy something, but rationalize it away. The numbers don't check out. You need to act more like your age. Just a constant betrayal of your inner voice that adorns your existence with a perpetual layer of friction
You have brain fog. You're less energetic. You've lost interest in things. Of course, your thoughts are working overtime trying to gaslight your soul into believing that it doesn't matter
Get on this regimen, start that protocol, do this and that, all ineffective until you start feeling your way through life. Respect yourself enough to finally trust your own heart, instead of questioning it. Recognize that when a decision can't be explained, it immediately becomes proof that you made the right one. Free your mind by giving it less to think about. Have the courage to live perfectly in a way only you can understand

Time is the only form of currency you can never make back once you spend it. Memories are the only form of value you can buy once but consume forever
If time is that scarce, why would you want to spend it in any way that doesn't create a personally meaningful experience? If memories are that priceless, why would you want to buy anything that doesn't make an experience more personally meaningful?

As an example, a person who came from nothing or fell on tough times could more easily justify doing something they hate in order to climb out of a situation
So many stories of people like this who started businesses or traded crypto when they were at their lowest and were able to go from zero to hero through pure intentionality
It didn't matter if the business was cool or fun, only that it sold shovels in a massive rush. It didn't matter that staring at charts for 16 hours per day sucked, only that there was the possibility to capitalize on a short window of opportunity
Completely draining, but at least there was a North Star, even if it was a temporary one. At least there was a reason to wake up every day, even if it was sponsored by negative emotion
This is pain, not hell. Hell is when purpose doesn't exist, forcing your days to be adorned by a perpetual layer of numbness. You're doing stuff, but you have no idea why you're doing them. You settle for everything in exchange for nothing
I've been in both situations, and chances are you have too. Sometimes you have to be driven by a brighter future, other times you get to reflect on a darker past. But what matters is you're able to feel something in the present

Either do something you hate that could set you up for life in a relatively short period of time, or do something you love where money and time are secondary to aligned presence. Work for an asymmetric reward, or play as the perpetual reward itself. Anything in the middle is hell

Dead giveaway that someone's life is actually good is how frictionlessly they're able to adapt to everyday things not going according to plan
Show up to a spot and it's closed or a restaurant and the wait is long. Hit unexpected traffic, get a day mixed up, anything that should theoretically break your flow
No blaming, sighing, or any visible signs of frustration. Almost a complete non reaction. Wastes no time even acknowledging it and just pivots to the next best option
Fuck it this place next door seems chill. Looks like we'll be here a bit longer so let's pop into some of these other stores. Then of course everyone ends up having a good time
Zero desire or need to escape the present moment. Can't force the abundance. Just a natural expression of having so much perceived control over your own time that nothing can make you believe that you don't have enough of it
Forget status games. It's all older generation foolishness. New wave is how smoothly you're gliding through reality. Undeniable composure. One of the few energies that can't be faked

The benefit of posting content isn't just the luck you can engineer but the increased comfort in unapologetic self expression
Every positive interaction reminds you that your presence matters. Every critical reaction reaffirms to you that you’re not afraid to put yourself out there
How much of either you receive isn’t as important as realizing that being acknowledged in general meant that you needed to first give someone an opportunity to even see you at all
Priceless perspective shift. You start to see yourself as a winner solely off the fact that you’re you. Perpetual confidence just for allowing the world to know you exist

The beauty of life is that everyone wants the same thing but there's infinite ways to manifest it. One person feels alive in the big city. Another in his village by the sea. One person feels at peace knowing he has enough. Another knowing there's so much more to be had
No need to worry about what anyone else is doing when you're all converging towards presence. Need to stop the comparison games. Find your scenic route and just keep driving. If it quiets your mind you're on the right track. Ignore the rest

The quality of your life can be gauged by how easily annoyed you are. Getting cut off in traffic. Wait taking longer than usual. Random tweet you disagree with or something. You're quick to be bothered by meaningless everyday occurrences
But when times are good you literally don't care. When times are great you don't even actually notice. Positivity is met with a smile. Bullshit is met with a laugh. Too busy enjoying the scenes in your head, either replaying recent W's or imagining creating more
The question then changes from how to stop being so affected by this or that, to why nonchalance is no longer a natural and unconscious way of being. Figure out the latter and the problem fixes itself
