“Take all the smartest people, have them come here for two years… Let’s forgive some student debt as part of that.”
“We’re going to get a private-sector employer to guarantee you a job when you finish your two years here and give you full credit for the time.”
His blueprint borrows from the Civilian Conservation Corps playbook and raises the bar:
1) Create a two-year tour of duty for young talent
2) Pair public-service impact with substantial financial upside
3) Build career pathways that flow back into tech
