2/ Is the Gaia team selling their tokens right now? No. Then who is selling if the Gaia team and investors are locked-in? The addresses people mention are related to partner market makers and exchanges. Most sell-off is coming from exchange airdrops, around 70%, due to community airdrop campaigns run on their side. A portion of the initial supply was set aside to ensure there’s enough liquidity and healthy market activity from the get-go. None of this involves the team, treasury, or early backers—all those tokens are fully locked. We’re fine with this. We made a strategic call—partnering with top exchanges justifies some airdrop sell pressure. This is crypto; everybody sees this, and unfortunately, it’s how launching works in our current ecosystem. To the community: all these moves are for the long haul. Only with broad distribution can we realize the vision of open source, decentralized AI, actually owned and governed by the people.
