Hoe deelnemen
Deelnemende projecten moeten voldoen aan de volgende voorwaarden:
- Projecten moeten binnen het TapeOut-ecosysteem bouwen en moeten ofwel TapeOut-circuits, -contracten of on-chain-data op X Layer gebruiken, ofwel draaien op X Layer DeWEB.
- Categorieën die in aanmerking komen zijn onder andere, maar niet beperkt tot, apps, games, online diensten, developertools, circuitontwerp en projecten die mechanismen zoals PoD verkennen. Projecten die inspelen op reële behoeften van Web2- en Web3-gebruikers worden aangemoedigd. Voortbouwen op bestaande ecosysteemtools en -applicaties is welkom.
- Projectbeschrijvingen moeten uitleggen wat het product of de dienst inhoudt, wie de doelgroep van gebruikers is en hoe je deze bereikt, welk winstmodel wordt voorgesteld en waarom gebruikers ervoor zouden betalen en het product blijven gebruiken. Projecten op het gebied van circuits, tools en mechanismes mogen de use cases en commerciële toepassingen beschrijven die ze ondersteunen.
- Circuitprojecten moeten het adres van het processorcontract en de circuit-ID indienen. Websites, apps en tools moeten een toegangslink aanbieden en toelichten welke projecten of functies uit het TapeOut-ecosysteem ze gebruiken.
- Bestaande projecten komen in aanmerking, maar moeten een substantiële, tijdens het evenement voltooide nieuwe ontwikkeling bevatten en beschrijven wat er is toegevoegd.
- Individuele deelnemers en teams zijn welkom. De hackathon vindt online plaats; teams op de shortlist nemen deel aan de offline Demo Day.

Beoordelingscriteria
Het officiële team van X Layer en TapeOut beoordeelt de inzendingen gezamenlijk en bepaalt de uiteindelijke ranglijst op basis van de volgende criteria:
- Gebruikerswaarde en commercieel potentieel: een duidelijk begrip van echte gebruikersbehoeften en doelmarkten, met potentieel voor langdurige groei en duurzame bedrijfsvoering.
- Innovatie: originaliteit in circuitontwerp, productfuncties of gebruikerservaring, evenals het potentieel om TapeOut uit te breiden naar nieuwe toepassingen.
- Ecosysteemintegratie: effectief gebruik van TapeOut of ecosysteemmogelijkheden zoals DeWEB, FabX, TapeCode, TapeKit en TapeSend om betekenisvolle productwaarde te creëren. Het gebruik van een specifiek project of specifieke tool is niet verplicht.
- Productgereedheid en gebruikerservaring: functionele kernfuncties, een volledige gebruikersreis en een lagere technische drempel voor gebruikers.
- Demo Video: The recommended length is no more than three minutes. It should cover the problem being solved, a demonstration of the core features, the target users and business model, and how the project uses TapeOut or related ecosystem tools

1. Event and acceptance. X Layer TapeOut Accelerate (the “Event”) is organized by X Layer (the “Organizer”). By registering or submitting an entry, participants accept these terms and the participation rules published on the Event page.
2. Event period. The official Event page governs the schedule. The provisional submission deadline is December 7, 2026, at 23:59 UTC. Any changes will be announced on the Event page.
3. Eligibility. Participants must be at least 18 or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is higher, or be legally established entities. Restricted Persons under the X Layer Terms of Service are ineligible. The Organizer may verify eligibility and require winners to complete identity checks.
4. Entry requirements. Entries must build within the TapeOut ecosystem and use TapeOut circuits, contracts or onchain data on X Layer. Participants must provide a project description and relevant addresses or links as required. The description must explain the product or service, target users and how to reach them, the proposed revenue model, and why users would pay and keep using the product. Circuit, tool and mechanism projects may explain the use cases and commercial applications they support. Existing projects must identify new development completed during the Event. Entries must be submitted on time through the designated form and meet the other participation requirements published on the Event page.
5. Judging. The official X Layer and TapeOut team will jointly assess entries based on user value and commercial potential, innovation, ecosystem use, product completeness and user experience to determine the final rankings. Only additions completed during the Event will be judged.
6. Prizes and support. The Event offers a 100,000 USDT prize pool sponsored by the TapeOut community, with award details listed on the Event page. After the Event and eligibility verification, prizes will be paid in stages as winning teams work with X Layer and TapeOut to develop and grow their projects. Payment schedules, milestones and other terms will be agreed upon with each team. Winners will also receive official X Layer PR support and collaboration opportunities, with details arranged separately. These benefits cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash and do not guarantee investment or a commercial partnership.
7. Recipient wallets. Winners must provide a self-custodial wallet lawfully controlled by them or their team and confirm the correct address and receiving network. Participants are responsible for safeguarding private keys and recovery phrases. Neither the Organizer nor the Sponsor will request this information.
8. Compliance checks. Participants and recipient wallets must satisfy applicable laws, sanctions and regional restrictions. The Organizer may request necessary verification information and suspend or refuse payment where legally required or where eligibility conditions are not met.
9. Intellectual property. Participants retain ownership of their entries and must hold the necessary rights to all included code, assets and other content. Submission grants the Organizer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable license solely to operate, judge, showcase, promote and report on the Event.
10. Misconduct. Plagiarism, unauthorized use of code or assets, fabricated functionality or data, impersonation, manipulation of judging, and other unlawful or fraudulent conduct may result in disqualification or loss of an award.
11. Taxes and costs. Prize amounts are stated before tax. Participants are responsible for applicable taxes and costs associated with participation and receiving or using prizes. The Organizer may make legally required deductions or reports and request the necessary information.
12. Applicable terms. Participation is also subject to the X Layer Terms of Service. These Event terms prevail in the event of a conflict concerning the Event. Third-party tools and services remain subject to their own terms.
13. Changes to the Event. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Organizer may amend the rules or schedule, suspend the Event or end it. Changes will be published on the Event page.
14. Language and other provisions. The English version prevails if the language versions conflict. The Organizer may correct errors or omissions in Event materials. No disclaimer excludes liability or participant rights that cannot legally be excluded.
