Born of the Hades Sporedrop, this all-seeing fungi is named after Tiresias, a blind prophet of the Underworld. Magnetically balanced in its center spins a large orb of photosensitive cells able to detect frequencies of light beyond the visible spectrum. The orb is protected by a thick tangle of neurotoxic barbs, a single prick of which can cause instantaneous paralysis. Those of the early Mushrohm Tribes referred to the orb as the Pearl of the Prophet, and select members are known to have consumed an extract of the Pearl for its clairvoyant properties, though an unavoidable side effect is temporary blindness.
