ive seen a bunch of comments that NASDAQs fees are hidden this simply isn't true. all national market system exchanges fee require SEC approval and go through a public comment period

are solana fees as transparent? not really trading on @solana requires private validator deals, RPC access, SWQoS, geyser access traders who try to directly send transactions to solana validators have no chance

@aeyakovenko 30k per-month for a 99 person firm, really isn't far off what solana fees would look like if solana had similar message volume if a market maker sent 100k messages a day on solana, they'd be paying at least $30k in SOL a month data access is another story, those fees rack up but all its all within an order of magnitude. direct access (geyser) to solana private validators isn't cheap and colocating across every geography isn't cheap either
