When we talk about savings and store of value there is no need to get semantic about definitions - you dont need to convince me - just convince yourself Just ask yourself what can you buy and save without worrying about having to sell at some point in a cycle and still be better off long term Just ask yourself if you received proceeds from inheritance or something that was sacred where would you put the money to preserve value long term Just ask yourself if you started from 0 and just had a great job and were trying to save long term and do well without trying to just get rich quick what would you buy Bitcoin is the only thing in "crypto" you could do any of these with any sense of certainty Now separate to that you can put money in alts or speculate like you would in traditional markets but you cant confuse that with savings or store of value - thats risk adjusted market participation with not the goal to have more of what you have but to sell it in order to get more of something else
