I've seen people talk about the SAT becoming easier, dropping their favorite section Few complain about the biggest problem in recent years: the transition to by-rights scoring (+points for being right vs -points for being wrong/incomplete) Can you guess what year it happened?
Adopted after 2016, clearly. It's not been good. Scores are generally not comparable between years, but this made them immediately strongly incomparable. A 1250 today is a much weaker score than a 1250 in the by-wrongs scoring era. Source:
