Earlier today I met up with @AndrewAsksHow We went golfing and ended up talking for 3 hours about crypto, marketing, content, and opportunities Here's some alpha from our conversation: 1. Touching grass and making crypto friends irl is a life hack to getting off the screens while still building your network 2. Marketing in crypto is still yet to be solved (the right way) which leaves huge opportunities on the table for individuals and agencies to offer new services, ideas, and strategies to convert noise into real users 3. A lot of crypto brands are desperate to work with good quality creators and we'll start to see a lot more creators sign big deals with brands and exchange social capital 4. The crypto cabal is a real thing and it's more about who you know rather than what you know 5. Creators that go all in on one project or ecosystem will get burned when that project fails and their personal brand will be left in the dust 6. The pricing for marketing services in crypto are very inconsistent which makes it hard for project's to gauge ROI and hard for marketing businesses to gauge competitiveness 7. A lot of well known crypto content creators that bot their followers and fake their engagement so be careful who you trust 8. Building your personal brand is one of the most +EV things you can do right now and not enough people are taking advantage of this 9. Crypto is becoming mainstream way quicker than most people realize and there's a huge opportunity to capitalize on the growth especially as a creator or marketer 10. If you aren't genuinely enjoying what you do then you must be doing something wrong Overall, even though our golfing skills may not be the best Our alpha chats definitely are
