Prediction: Andrew Cuomo will be the next Mayor of NYC. I’ve been studying the candidates for weeks. Cuomo is the only one with the experience, gravitas, and proven ability to govern at scale. He’s been underestimated, and he’s going to have a comeback.

His critics focus on two things: sexual assault allegations and COVID nursing home deaths. Both have been overheated by the media and wielded as political weapons. The reality is far more complex, and the arguments against him are weaker than they look.

1) The sexual assault allegations -- what exactly are they, even? I have dug into this. Seems to mostly be about too much hugging, maybe some comments here or there. That is *not* assault. Also - some of the women accusing him are VERY pro-Mamdani. I will dig into this...

2) Covid deaths -- seriously? Covid was an *insane* time, and NYC got hit first, and hardest. All the government leaders followed the guidance of their staff. Hindsight is 20/20, and I'm not even sure anybody has made a compelling argument about what he should have done.

The man has built more airports than Mamdani has passed bills... He ran NY state - an enormous, wealthy, highly populous state - and the worst thing people can point to is how he handled nursing homes...? Nobody knew what to do back then.

I listened to this episode of Mo News earlier this week and found Cuomo to be extremely thoughtful, pragmatic, and very in touch with New Yorkers' concerns. I believe he has been underestimated.

Hopefully, he will appear on more podcasts and demonstrate to New Yorkers that he has the knowledge, experience, and strength to lead New York State. Frankly, I think he'd be a solid Mayor.

A few more thoughts. 1) Mamdani is a coddled nepobaby with no work experience. From what I can tell, he coasted around for six years after college not working. Not a serious person. 2) Sliwa - has 13 cats. Need I say more. 3) Adams - very solid, but too tainted.

I think Cuomo could be great for NYC, and unfortunately, ran against a socialist in a socialist-dominated primary. This is overcomable. I think he has it in him. I'm rooting for him to fight fight fight!
