It's kind of stark listening to @twentyminutevc. 1. A couple things stand out. Never heard of most of these guests. 2. These are far more conversational than almost any other podcast. It's not guests monologuing for 3-5 minutes uninterrupted. It's far more like real life. Short and snappy. This leads to faster pacing. 3. @HarryStebbings actually challenges guests. Like says he thinks their belief is wrong. It's actually crazy how infrequently this happens on most shows. On recent episode with Peter Rahal, Harry was like, why would you create this boiled cod product? 4. You can see by the questioning the Harry actually goes in and lets the conversation go where it needs to like a real life conversation and responds with appropriate emotion. It was refreshing to hear how shocked he was to that Peter had sold RX despite the super impressive revenue & growth. 5. Most podcast hosts are show humility but Harry really seems unafraid to appear too buttoned up. Him admitting in that episode that he drinks too much (to be clear, not admitting to be an alcoholic) is something I've never heard a host say. Anyway, having not listened to any episodes before the last couple weeks it's a remarkable podcast. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for something that feels a bit different.
