after 3 months spent in Europe, finally going back to Asia the more I travel, the more it's clear: Europe is cooked only reason to stay in Europe: ✅ friends ✅ family ✅ maybe food, but even that is debatable (you can easily find European type of food and restaurants in Asia) why can't live in France anymore: ❌ expensive af for what you get ❌ security is going down only since years ❌ insane taxes for low tier services (for example private hospital in Thailand are x50 better than public hospital in France, and you pay way less, fr) ❌ bureaucracy hell, had to deal with French paperwork again… meanwhile in Asia: > you can live a luxury life for $2k–$3k/month (for 2) in some countries > top tier service; fast, polite, available 24/7 > life is fk chill > people are more open overall > feels like the future is being built here i'm obviously speaking from a digital nomad pov btw feeling so gud to be back there
