was walking some folks through things we're building at @darkresearchai and, despite being a very early team, we're increasingly starting to do things no one in the industry has done yet how did we get here already? my thesis is that crypto has one massive, gaping hole: too many builders in web3 have too little web2 product experience. some things in web3 are different, but a lot of things are the same - especially when it comes to building apps. if you've never seen world class web2 apps up close, you simply don't know what you don't know -- and you miss opportunities that would be obvious to someone with the right context. i continue to find this fascinating. especially in defi, so many builders are way too much finance and too little tech. the way to win, as always, is just to be the best at both. we have a @darkresearchai engineering blog in the works and i'm super excited to share how we're thinking about things. i hope it inspires builders with similar products & i look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts
