I think an advertising function in X Spaces would be hugely popular, here's how I imagine it working... Bottom right section features a video/gif from a brand. Hosts can decide opt-into turning on ads, and then their space will automatically have ads served during their space if they meet a certain threshold of listeners. Here's a twist: Revenue is shared 50/50 between host and listeners who have set up earnings on their profile. So for every $100 (for example) that is earned from ads, $50 goes to host and $50 is split evenly between listeners who meet certain criteria.
