You know what is @pendle_fi, but what about @boros_fi? 🧵
II. "Yeah, who doesn't know what @pendle_fi is all about, lol." Let's start with a basic understanding then. When $BTC funding hits -3% (like last weekend), everyone rushes to go long, expecting a squeeze, right?
III. "Right, so?" What if you could trade that -3% rate directly? That's exactly what @boros_fi does. Instead of betting on the $BTC price, you bet on whether funding costs will rise or fall.

Introducing Boros, Pendle’s new platform for trading funding rates 🔗
IV. "How does it work?" Each trade utilizes something called a Yield Unit (YU). For example, 1 YU-ETH represents the future funding yield from 1 $ETH notional. Think of it as a Yield Token (YT), but linked to funding rather than staking or lending yield.
V. "So, if I expect funding to rise, I should go long on YU; if I expect a drop, I should go short?" Exactly! This allows you to hedge your bets or speculate on future funding rates. Note: @boros_fi is operating on @arbitrum.
VI. Additionally, Boros Vaults are available that let you LP into the market and earn: - Swap fees. - $PENDLE incentives. - Gains if implied APR trends your way.
VII. @boros_fi is being rolled out with limited availability: - Open Interest is capped at $10M per market. - Leverage is limited to 1.2x. Job's not done. Boros.
