Got upgraded on my flight to NYC this morning and everyone in first class was reading papers and books by Selgin and White covering the free banking literature. I looked back at the rest of the plane - everyone reading about CBDC pilots from the ECB and the BIS and white papers on tokenized deposits from JPM. Just a very interesting observation.
