In 2021, Axie onboarded many new users into Web3. Some of these users are now strong members of the @Ronin_Network community. When the chain was permissioned, everything felt like easy mode , you could easily trust every project launched on Ronin, and with that high level of trust, those projects quickly gained users' attention. Then came permissionless Ronin. The impact was clear: competition between projects became much tougher, and most users had no choice but to be more cautious and dive deeper into the Web3 industry. But for me, Open Ronin is necessary. All the major blockchains with massive user bases are permissionless. That’s the only way builders can easily come to Ronin and start building.
