As market cap for stablecoins grow to trillions of dollars, issuers will either be deemed Systematic Important Banks or Financial institutions (SIB/SIFI) or deal with anti-trust lawsuits. The former forever ingrains them with the US government to get similar benefits like JPM and the latter pushes them to a series of contentious hearings.
