My biggest advice to someone starting seed investing: Do not think you are smart enough to predict market size. 1. Is the founder world class? Test: Would you go work for them? 2. Is the market directionally correct? Test: Can a $10BN business be built here. 3. Is the deal directionally correct? Can I see 3x on this valuation within 12-18 months if they hit their goals?
