Tried to understand how big of a number $2B is last night Fun thought experiment, how long do you think it would take you to count from 0 to 2B Longer than you think my friend Lets break it down Assume: - The average person takes about 1 second to say each number up to around 100. - After that, the time increases slightly because bigger numbers take longer to say. - A conservative average is 1.5 seconds per number for the entire range. So: 2,000,000,000 numbers × 1.5 seconds = 3,000,000,000 seconds Convert to: Minutes: 3,000,000,000 ÷ 60 = 50,000,000 minutes Hours: 50,000,000 ÷ 60 = 833,333 hours Days: 833,333 ÷ 24 = 34,722 days Years: 34,722 ÷ 365 ≈ 95 years ~95 years of nonstop counting, 24/7, without eating, sleeping, or making a single mistake 95 years of counting TVL on @avax Does this counting time metric matter, probably not. But $2B TVL sure does
