obvious point but worth restating: on a 3-7yr horizon AI progress creates three enormous areas of 2nd-order opportunity: 1. energy: ai makes the demand for cheap (and clean!) power even more insatiable. eventually energy is intelligence's main bottleneck 2. crypto: at the extreme, a fully agentic future is a future ruled by markets and one that requires trust/reputation in permissionless contexts. blockchains are the ideal backbone for both global markets and digital identity 3. bio: in a world that is more "solved" b/c of ai, our collective health becomes -- by a mile -- the most glaring unsolved problem + ai will dramatically improve our ability to model these incredibly complex systems (our bodies) excited to eventually spend all of my time in these areas
