I've seen 3 farejumpers on the DC metro this trip. All three were black males, aged 18-35, with dreads. WMATA staff watched them go by without saying a word. This low grade anti social behavior eats away at the common good. It should be ruthlessly punished. The fares are cheap; there is no good reason not to pay.
