President Trump's call with Mexican President Sheinbaum was very positive and constructive. Mexico now understands that any deal must address the twin crises of fentanyl/illegal immigration, as well as attacking Mexico's enormous trade deficit. Over the next 90 days, we will work together to examine how an agreement can solve these problems once and for all. In the meantime, Mexico has agreed to fully open its markets including dropping their non tariff trade barriers, a major win for U.S. producers. Mexico's current Tariffs will remain in place, and we look forward to working together to improve our trade with Mexico.

Today we agreed to another historic trade deal. The Republic of Korea will provide $350 Billion for the United States to invest as President Trump directs, with 90% of the profits going to the American people. South Korea also agreed to purchase $100 Billion in LNG and other energy products from the United States over the next 3.5 years. Additionally, when the President of South Korea visits the White House in the coming weeks, President Trump and President Lee Jae Myung will announce the enormous investments South Korean companies will make in America. South Korea’s reciprocal and auto tariff rate will be set at 15%. They will also not be treated any worse than any other country on semiconductors and pharmaceuticals. Steel, aluminum, and copper are not included and remain unchanged. These trade deals reflect the clear understanding that President Trump’s tariff and trade agenda has the power to reshape global commerce. I could not be prouder to help deliver on President Trump’s promises to the American people. Trade and tariffs are how we Make America Great Again.

GDP just surged to 3% and the Trump Economy has officially arrived. Biden’s first quarter is behind us, and growth is already accelerating. President Trump’s tariff policies have drawn historic investments and opened up global markets for U.S. businesses. Congratulations America: 3 percent today, and we’re just getting started.

Where are the “experts” now?

President Trump just unlocked one of the biggest economies in the world. The European Union is going to open its 20 Trillion dollar market and completely accept our auto and industrial standards for the first time ever. In addition, it will purchase $750 BILLION in energy from us and invest $600 BILLION in America. Our Tariff will be set at 15% across the board. Today is a historic day for U.S. trade and will strengthen our relationship with the European Union for decades to come.

With Japan’s commitment to provide $550B for The United States to invest for the benefit of America, our trade deal with Japan creates a new world for what it means to deliver @POTUS’s America First Trade Policy for America.
