I'm a very optimistic person with my own particular view on AI. Please, by all means, use/experiment with AI. Explore it. Stretch it. But _please, please_ keep your hands on the wheel. Otherwise, we're just passengers in someone else's _untrusted_ car (meaning a car of OpenAI, Google, Meta, etc.) and we don't even know where it's going. Tools can get sharper, but not wiser. That part must always remain with us. You know, thinking is (y)our last line of defence. Surrender it and you become a slave to the machine, not its master.

The battle is far from being over. There's no fucking way we're letting the government win. Roman will not spend a single day behind bars. It's our duty to back him up with everything we've got. If Roman wins, privacy wins, and that's a victory for all of us. Let's show the world that we, as a community, are fucking stronger than they ever thought. We will not let Roman down. ✊️

This morning I've been reviewing our last months' SEAL 911 tickets. Guys, it's clear that soon (probably sooner than you think) a large portion of our ecosystem will be running on compromised devices. I mean, man, infostealers are probably the _biggest_ ecosystem problem right now. However, and that's what I want to address here, is that OS design choices like weak data compartmentalisation & permissive default trust models are the _major enablers_, especially on macOS and Windows. Please remember: these OSes weren't built with the strict sandboxing, strong application isolation, or zero-trust principles needed to defend against these today's threats! I understand that shifting most of the space to something like QubesOS isn't realistic, but we must start prioritising security-first OS choices in our ecosystem, not just UX. Honestly, fancy features won't stop your device from being compromised. And while I'm at it, please don't store assets in hot wallets. Just don't. Also, don't take pics of your seed phrase with your phone. There are malicious apps that can use OCR to scan images for seeds. Cold storage means no connection to the internet, period. Happy Sunday and go touch some grass or sand :D.

10 years of Ethereum.

It was this day 10 years ago, 30th of July 2015, that we changed the world forever. We were a small team of hackers in an office in Kreuzberg in Berlin and we had just launched the @ethereum network. The rest is history. Looking back at the last 10 years, I am excited about the next 10 years, the next 25, the next 100. What will the next generation do with our creation? What will you build on Ethereum?

10 years ago, @ethereum was just an idea. Today, the ecosystem sets out to bring Ethereum to billions across the globe. I’m grateful for how it has brightened my life over the past 8 colorful years. With your involvement, the next decade will be even more inspiring 💚
