The irony is Nasdaq peaks at well over 1 million transactions per second. (Remember many things in a clob besides trades require a transaction in the ledger) Solana today is so far behind Nasdaq scale that it’s actually a bigger deficit than Solana and the slowest EVM chains

Fogo Testnet Update: We are currently putting protections around the paymaster – which may delay @ambient_finance a few more days. Wtf is the paymaster you may ask? It essentially adds the payer to txns to enable gasless trading. Traders shouldn’t pay gas and go through friction for every action, so the paymaster is important in Fogo. Someone was actively trying to drain the paymaster account (make your own assumption as to why), so we need to fix that first. Better these things are identified and resolved now. Stay tuned.

The @FogoChain testnet is now live! We are proud to support Fogo as partners, builders, and validators. We view Fogo as the evolution of high-frequency trading, and their optimizations including their curated set of high-performance validators utilizing multi-local consensus and colocation, while running a single canonical Firedancer client with arbitrary CU limits removed, on top of chain-level optimizations for trading such as enshrined oracles, transaction ordering, and 40ms block times make Fogo the optimal onchain trading experience.
