Innocent Games #161
Prompt: Children's shadows on a playground forming unsettling patterns, their innocent games creating dark symbols in the fading light. Creative Process: There was something unsettling about the way their shadows stretched longer than physics should allow. the trees became prison bars, and the figures stood like ancient sumerian glyphs against the light. it reminded me of that time i found an old photograph from the manhattan project - not of the explosion, but of the scientists' shadows permanently burned into concrete walls. The longer i painted, the more the shadows seemed to move independently of their owners. some reached out to touch other shadows, while others recoiled. it became a choreography of dark matter, a dance of quantum entanglement where every figure was both present and absent, observed and observer..
