DEVOUR VI SINE MORA #6

Oil on canvas 12x16" (physical included) Week 6 of DEVOUR: a year-long project of reading and responding by Rocketgirl. This painting is an abstract reflection on the book 'Never Let Me Go' (Kazuo Ishiguro). "We all complete. Maybe none of us really understand what we've lived through, or feel we've had enough time." — Kazuo Ishiguro, Never Let Me Go DEVOUR VI: SINE MORA interprets the emotional residue of the book rather than its narrative - the heaviness, the hidden knowledge, the quiet rupture between acceptance and grief. The work offers a gesture toward the moment when surrender becomes the only honest response.
