Artist Statement by Senkoe: "Drawing on both my indigenous roots and personal experiences traveling India and Nepal, Mudra reflects the innate, human desire towards altruism. Coupling the Varada mudra imagery with the legendary “pájaro Toh,” tells a story of forgiveness; of unification across culture, religion, and social standing; and of the conscious expansion which reverberates from inner reflection. In this sense, generosity is not only birthed from an act of meditation, but shared in the divine connection of humanity itself."
