Artist Statement by Saphera Peters: "This piece was inspired by its name, the Golden Rule, which states to treat others how you would like to be treated. When thinking about the theme of generosity, I defined it as going above and beyond to make people feel good without expecting anything in return, which is the golden rule of my life, something I try to practice every single day."
