Aurelia Luminflora, named from Latin for 'golden light flower,' is a bioluminescent marine species in the Etheric Radiantum cluster. It features large, translucent, undulating petals with ruffled margins, orange at the base transitioning to deep bioluminescent blue tips speckled with luminescent dots from photoprotein complexes. Slender, firm stems support dense floral clusters adapted to ocean currents. Emitting 420-490nm azure light via luciferin-luciferase reactions optimized for 0-10°C abyssal waters, it inhabits the Abyssal Ocean Gardens at minimal light depths. It attracts nocturnal pollinators like bioluminescent plankton and cryptic crustaceans. Weighing 150-300g and 20-50 cm tall, it forms dense colonies crucial for nutrient cycling. It represents a novel genus with specialized photogenic cells and aquatic locomotion through rhythmic undulation.
